Rick Ross And Usher's 'Touch 'N You' Is For 'The Ladies'
Rozay and Usher talk to MTV News about the 'sexy' track from their video set in Atlanta.

<P>God Forgives, but <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/ross__rick__rap_/artist.jhtml">Rick Ross</a> does not. Still, as apathetic as the Bawse may portray himself, Rozay has a sweet spot when it comes to the ladies. So on <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/05/15/rick-ross-usher-touch-n-you-god-forgives-i-dont/">"Touch 'N You,"</a> the new big money single off of Ross' upcoming <i>God Forgives, I Don't,</i> the Maybach CEO and guest star <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher Raymond</a> show a little love to the hunnies.</P><P>"It's a real sexy record. I wanted to make sure the ladies knew that they could be a part of this movement, a part of this project," Rick Ross told MTV News on Thursday (May 24) from the "Touch 'N You" video set in Atlanta. "I would never let the ladies down even if it's a real hard album or however it may be titled."</P><P><center><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:785212/cp~vid%3D785212" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" flashVars="autoPlay=true&sid=MTV_Videos" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed></center></P><P>The upcoming clip is directed by Chris Robinson (Lil Wayne "How to Love," Jay-Z "Roc Boys") and will of course co-star Usher. "It's an incredible one, Chris once again comes together making an incredible video," Usher told us. "It is a conceptual video depicting the world that Rozay is in. My participation is just to show up and be cool."</P><P>Cool is an understatement when it comes to Usher, who is riding high off of his #1 <i>Billboard</i> Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Song <a href="/news/articles/1685264/usher-climax.jhtml">"Climax."</a> Ross is no stranger to love songs either; he's given the ladies plenty to swoon over on singles like 2008's "Here I Am" and 2010's "Aston Martin Music," but having Ush on a track adds a certain appeal.</P><P>The combination of Raymond's vocals and the sexy "Touch 'N You" video should be just enough to help Rozay properly put his feelings in perspective. Sometimes after long studio sessions with Meek Mill, Wale and the rest of his MMG compadres, the Bawse just needs to get away, and that's what he aims to capture in the clip. R&B superstar serenades a lively crowd with tracks from his upcoming album Looking 4 Myself.

Fans filled midtown Manhattan's Rockefeller Plaza to watch the ATL singer serenade them with singles off of his upcoming album <i>Looking 4 Myself.</i></P><P>Even though Usher performed bright and early, there was no shortage of energy as the singer rocked the crowd with his new hits "OMG," "Without U" and new hits "Climax" and "Scream." The audience stayed on their feet as Usher soulfully connected to fans (especially when he removed his jacket).</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Usher Gets The Party Moving On 'Today' With 'Without U'" id="vid:770400" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>On Wednesday's <link type="content" id="1685266">"MTV First: Usher," the R&B superstar debuted his new track "Twisted" featuring Pharrell and opened up to host Sway Calloway about how <i>Looking 4 Myself</i> is "all about evolution." "All of my career is kind of an unveiling, an unfolding story, and it ain't done. There's so much more that I'm going to do, so much that I've now just been interested in and been introduced to," he said. "I just want that experience of having this very monogamous relationship with entertainment and acting in a way where I can really, really focus and become better."</P><P>Other acts that will follow Usher on the "Today" summer concert series include Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, Pitbull, Chris Brown and the soon-to-be-picked <link type="content" id="1486475">"American Idol"</link> winner and runner-up.</P><P>The concerts will occur every Friday morning for the remainder of the summer. Blake Lively Covers Bullet's Summer 2012 Issue
With her new movie "Savages" set to hit theaters on July 6th, Blake Lively garnered a little added exposure after being selected for cover duties for the Summer 2012 issue of Bullet magazine.
The 24-year-old actress looked simply stunning in a white Chanel dress with a La Vie Bobo ring for the David Slijper shot front page while dishing about everything from relationships to her "Savages" role as Ophelia.

Adopt from your local shelter," is taking on fellow animal-loving pop star Ke$ha and rappers k-os and Waka Flocka Flame in the Most Animal-Friendly Pop/Hip-Hop Artist category. He's widely considered one of the sexiest men alive, and David Beckham showed just why as he brought his hunk appeal to the cover of the July 2012 issue of ELLE UK.
The 37-year-old soccer star looked studly in a casual top for the Doug Inglish shot front page while turning up the heat in a soaking wet shirtless snap included in the accompanying spread.
Set to hit newsstands on Wednesday, May 30th, Becks' appearance makes him the first male ever to grace the publication's cover solo - an accomplishment in which the "honored" LA Galaxy pro found "really exciting".
Of the selection for the July 2012 issue, ELLE UK Editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy told, "David Beckham is a national hero... He is an icon and Elle is known for featuring icons on its cover. This is a first for us on the newsstand and I believe he is loved by men and women alike."

Beyonce: Back for Round 2 at Revel Resorts
Back for the second of her four-night post-baby concert return, Beyonce Knowles gave another energetically dazzling performance at Ovation Hall at Revel Resort & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Saturday night (May 26).
The new mother of a precious daughter named Blue Ivy swapped in and out of an array of intricately crafted costumes while belting out songs including, "I Care", "Dance For You" and "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)".
Having kicked off her four-day Memorial Day weekend run the previous night, Beyonce had quite the prestigious trio of spectators in the crowd offering their support.

Ke$ha Calls Bob Dylan Cover 'An Emotional Purging'
Pop singer sings 'Don't Think Twice, It's All Right' for Amnesty International anniversary album.

<P>It's hard to associate <a href="/music/artist/_kesha_/artist.jhtml">Ke$ha</a> with songs about anything other than hot guys, body glitter and partying. But she's defying her usual topics of interest for human rights organization Amnesty International. The singer is one of the many musicians on the org's <i>Chimes of Freedom</i> compilation of Bob Dylan's music, out January 24.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Ke$ha Calls Bob Dylan Cover Choice 'An Accident'" id="vid:720838" width="240" height="211"></div><p></P><P>When MTV News spoke with K-Dollar Sign last week about her <a href="/news/articles/1676172/kesha-sleazy-remix.jhtml">all-star remix of "Sleazy,"</a> she also opened up about switching gears vocally and emotionally for her version of Dylan's classic "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right."</P><P>"I mean, I think it's pretty well known that he's one of, if not my most, favorite artists of all time and ... one of the most amazing lyricists as well — the original storyteller," she explained. "So I love Bob Dylan and this was just, like, a dream. When they asked me to do a cover, I was just, like, salivating and going through all my records. It was so fun. It was the best homework assignment you could possibly have."</P><P>K's version of Dylan's song is a slow-burning, heartbreaking ode to the already heartbreaking classic, where she channels Dylan through lyrics like "Still I wish there was somethin' you would do or say/ To try and make me change my mind and stay/ We never did too much talkin' anyway/ So don't think twice, it's all right."</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="What Is The Biggest Perk Of Being A Headliner?" id="vid:642810" width="240" height="211"></div><p></P><P>Ke$ha had originally intended to record another Dylan track, but when she heard that someone else had their sights set on it, she settled on "Don't Think Twice," prompting a catharsis she could never have imagined.</P><P>"This song was kind of an accident. I sat down and this is the first take that I ever sang," she recalled. "I just sat down on my bed for the first time after months of being on tour and I just started crying, and it was kind of like an emotional purging, and you can hear it on the record."</P><P>In addition to Ke$ha and her contribution, the album will feature 75 other Dylan classics recorded by nearly 80 artists including Adele, Miley Cyrus, "Glee" star Darren Criss, My Chemical Romance, Evan Rachel Wood and Sugarland. The album pays tribute to the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International.</p>

Back on the west coast after a Memorial Day weekend flight, Ashley Greene was spotted arriving into LAX Airport in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday (May 26).

Lady Gaga To Launch Little Monsters Social Networking Site

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml">Lady Gaga</a> is already the queen of social media, almost 25 million Twitter followers. So it just goes to reason that once she's conquered that medium she would go on to create her own social networking site. <a href="www.littlemonsters.com" target="_blank">Little Monsters</a>, a site built around Gaga's fanbase, is in invite-only beta testing mode right now.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Lady Gaga Finds Inspiration In Her Fans, And They Are Inspired By Her" id="vid:657588" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>According to <a href="http://mashable.com/2012/02/07/lady-gaga-social-network-little-monsters-launch/" target="_blank">Mashable</a>, an early look at the site shows some similarity to the popular Pinterest mobile app that allows users to drop pins on locations and things they like. It also uses elements of the Reddit site by allowing fans to rate cool content that they like. Little Monsters will focus on fans sharing and creating photos and videos and allowing users to hype content that they are into. The site is the first one launched by Backplane, a tech startup co-founded by Gaga's manager, Troy Carter.</P><P>"Backplane is about bringing together communities and Gaga's community just so happens to be the community we're using to learn about proper functionality," CEO Matt Michelsen said about the company that will focus on building online communities. "We think we can really change the world."</P><P>Backplane is partially funded by Gaga and the company plans to launch Little Monsters out of beta at an undetermined time and spin off more sites this year. It hopes to leverage Gaga's massive online following to draw users to the new sites. To date, in addition to her massive Twitter base, Gaga has 330,000 followers on Google+, more than 50 million Facebook fans and more than <a href="/news/articles/1650720/lady-gaga-reaches-1-billion-youtube-views.jhtml">one billion views on YouTube</a>

Robin Gibb Mourned By Justin Bieber, Carrie Underwood
At Billboard Music Awards, Jordin Sparks recalls paying tribute to the Bee Gees during her time on 'American Idol.'

<P>The music industry lost yet another influential artist Sunday (May 20), with the <a href="http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1685455/bee-gees-robin-gibb-dead-died-62.jhtml">untimely death of Bee Gees' member Robin Gibb</a>.</P><P>The news was met with sadness and shock from the celeb attendees at Sunday's <i>Billboard</i> Music Awards. They were quick to express heartfelt sentiments to Gibb's family and friends, as well as weigh in on the huge impact the Bee Gees had on the music industry as a whole.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Celebrities React To Robin Gibb's Passing" id="vid:770720" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>"Oh no!" Jordin Sparks said in shock upon hearing the news. "I thought he was doing better. Barry Gibb [Robin's brother and fellow Bee Gee], when I was on <a href="/news/articles/1559121/idol-recap-melindas-worst-still-best.jhtml">'[American] Idol,' he was one of our mentors</a>, and it was so amazing to meet him. I actually discovered my love for Bee Gees music through that week, and 'Too Much Heaven' and 'Emotions' are two of my favorite songs, and 'Stayin' Alive,' of course. Classic. But it's so sad," she added. "I just can't [believe it]."</P><P>"I definitely listened to the Bee Gees," Justin Bieber told us. "I'm not too familiar with them, but it's definitely sad what happened. My heart goes out to him and his family."</P><P>"My first memory of the Bee Gees was the film 'Saturday Night Fever,' which is one of my favorites," recalled Max George of the Wanted. "I love the Bee Gees. They're obviously legends and heroes of ours and people we look up to. It's a really sad loss. Our thoughts go out to all of his family."</P><P>Chart-topper Carrie Underwood remembered discovering the group during her childhood. "My parents listened to the Bee Gees quite a bit when I was little, so I was definitely exposed to them at an early age. They just had a sound that was all their own, obviously, [it was] never duplicated," she said. "They were very influential on music in general, and it's very sad to hear about any loss. There have been a lot of legends lost this year, so it's always sad to see it happen, but they are paying a couple of tributes here [at the <i>Billboard</i> Music Awards], and I know that they'll be classy and respectful and allow us all to remember them."</P><P>Singer/songwriter and recent "Dancing With the Stars" castmember Gavin DeGraw spoke to the group's influence with their own music, as well as the hit songs they went on to write for other artists.</P><P>"Let's talk about the Bee Gees. That's an iconic group. Not just a great band, but a great group of songwriters," DeGraw said. "Even long after the Bee Gees' success on the pop charts, they were still writing songs for other people, huge hit songs. Their talent went far beyond their moment of normal pop success. It is a loss to the music industry and a loss of an iconic group. The beauty of this industry is that we do pay tribute and every artist coming up is a fan of a generation prior to it, so there's a real tradition element to it."</P><P><i>Please share your condolences for Gibb's family, friends and fans in the comments.</i></p>

HGTV, LA and Dining Room Tables
I've been watching a lot of HGTV since coming to LA. My favorite shows are House Hunters and House Hunters International. There's also another show I like to watch called For Rent, but only because it makes me angry.
When it comes to apartments/homes, I think living in New York for the past eleven years has made me bitter because there was this whiny broad on For Rent a few nights ago who was looking at a huge place—A HUGE PLACE—and was like, "There's no place for a dining room table..."

I hated her.
Now there's some stupid lady on House Hunters who wants a townhouse with a fireplace that she can turn on with a light switch. IT HAS TO BE A LIGHT SWITCH because she doesn't want to bend down and flip a switch on the floor.
WHO DO THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE?
Anyway, I know my LA update is WAY overdue (and truth be told I wrote a long one last week but for some reason it didn't save so I lost the whole thing and I was so angry that I just said, "Ah, f*ck it," and closed the computer instead of rewriting) but to give you a quick update, I AM SO HAPPY HERE. I MEAN, I'M REALLY, REALLY HAPPY. And I think living here and watching HGTV—both of these things combined—has made me realize that New York was just beating me down. I mean, the fireplace lady—yes, she's an idiot. But there's nothing wrong with wanting a dining room table. Why did I get so mad at that lady?
Since being here, at least once a day I ask myself why I have lived in New York for so long. (It's like I had Stockholm Syndrome or something.) CALIFORNIA IS AWESOME. It's like the promised land. It's sunny all the time and there are birds and flowers everywhere. I have space out here. I have a sofa on the patio out here. I HAVE A SOFA OUTSIDE. I haven't seen one rat since I've been here. But hummingbirds? THEY ZIP BY MY HEAD EVERY DAY. I am so happy.
I'm supposed to go back to New York in November, but truth be told, I'm not sure I will.

<P><b>LAS VEGAS</b> — As was expected, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1685460/justin-bieber-boyfriend-billboard-music-awards.jhtml">Justin Bieber's show-stopping performance of "Boyfriend"</a> at Sunday's (May 20) <i>Billboard</i> Music Awards brought out the squeals and the swag.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Justin Bieber Breaks Down Billboard Awards 'Boyfriend' Performance" id="vid:770729.id:1685461" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>When MTV News caught up with Bieber on the white carpet for the awards show, just before his big number, the teenage superstar said his expectations for the evening were relatively simple: He just wanted everyone to have fun and to be able to show off all the hard work he's been putting into his dance moves.</P><P>"This performance is going to be fun. I practiced a lot in the dance studio," Bieber said. "I've been working hard, and I can't wait to show the fans what I've been working so hard on." Since the other members of Bieber's musical family — Carly Rae Jepsen and Usher — were also performing, did the trio discuss any feelings of friendly competition or joke around about which performance would be better than the others?</P><P>"[It's] not a competition. It's all love," Bieber said with a smile. "We're all a family. Carly is my artist, and I'm Usher's artist, so it's kind of cool that we're all performing here, together.</P><P>For first-time <i>Billboard</i> Music Awards attendee and performer Jepsen, the goal for the night was to remember to take a moment to soak it all in.</P><P>"I want to feel happy when I'm onstage," she said. "A lot of times you kind of get caught up in the performance and then you worry and then it's over and you think, 'I didn't even enjoy it.' So tonight, after [having a successful] soundcheck this morning, it's going to be about having fun.
