"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" Third TV Spot: Watch Here!
Amping up excitement for Peter Jackson’s new trilogy, New Line Cinema has released a third TV spot for “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.”
The new feature come just in time for fans to get a taste of what they can expect before heading out to get their hands on the first available tickets, which begin sales on Wednesday (November 7) at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time in the U.S. and Canada.
The first of the three part adventure follows a curious Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), who journeys to the Lonely Mountain with a vigorous group of Dwarves to reclaim a treasure stolen from them by the dragon Smaug.
Starring Elijah Wood, Cate Blanchett and Orlando Bloom, “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” is set to hit theaters on December 14.

Lady Gaga Still Wants To 'Act Like I'm 19'
Mother Monster covers the September issue of Vogue and talks about how despite her fame, she still likes to 'feel a little irresponsible.'

<P>This year's September issue of <a href="http://www.vogue.com/magazine/article/dream-girl-lady-gaga/#1" target="_blank"><i>Vogue</i></a> is important not only because it's the <i>September issue,</i> but because it celebrates the magazine's 120 years in the business. And they've chosen the one and only <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml">Lady Gaga</a> as their cover girl.</P><P>For her <a href="/news/articles/1657656/lady-gaga-vogue.jhtml">second cover</a>, Gaga went ultra-glam; her hair platinum and big paired with an off-the-shoulder, mermaid-cut Marc Jacobs gown in multiple shades of fuchsia, purple and pink.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Lady Gaga Twitter Lightning Round!" id="vid:683377" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>The cover line promises, "Think you know Lady Gaga? Think again." And, in several quotes teased from the issue, which officially hits newsstands on August 14, Gaga dishes on not only her <i>Born This Way</i> Ball, but also the reasons she makes the music she does.</P><P>She also explained why it was so important that her fragrance appear so dark. "The fragrance is called <a href="/news/articles/1690972/lady-gaga-racy-fame-perfume-ad.jhtml">Fame</a>. It must be black," she said, noting that when she met with perfume designers they had to make sure it sprayed on clear. "It must be enticing. You must want to lick and touch and feel it, but the look of it must terrify you." As for her massive stage show, she explained that she wanted to "break the mold of what modern touring is now" and reinvent some of the images she's best known for, including that meat dress she wore to the 2010 VMAs.</P><P>"We were talking about putting the show together, and I said, 'OK, what if I was someone's grandma and I was going to a concert tonight? How would I know that it was a Gaga show?' " she said. "And we all just sort of looked at each other and said, 'The meat dress.' "</P><P>If the meat dress wasn't distinction enough, Gaga said what also makes her shows different is the way they make you feel. "I don't really make records for people to listen to and go, 'Wow, she's a genius.' " She added, "I'd really like you to order a drink, maybe kiss the person you came with that evening, or rediscover something about your past that makes you feel even more brave."</P><P>She explains in the issue that sometimes she doesn't just feel brave in her music, but also in her real life. And, despite her extremely high profile, she says she likes to "feel a little irresponsible and act like I'm 19." According to the <a href="http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5iXsp_pZdcwCVC_SZc5hL-ZaO1fwQ?docId=109e045a451c442f9fcfaac07423da14" target="_blank">Associated Press</a> she added that there are times when she can "roll into a bar" and dance on a bar, or perhaps even have sex on the beach incognito.</P><P>The photos for the issue were shot by fashion photography team Mert & Marcus. <P>It's been an impressive run for Team U.S.A. over in London. As the <a href="/news/articles/1691023/olympics-carly-rae-jepsen-austin-mahone.jhtml">Summer Olympics</a> continue to captivate the world, event after event, it was a girl who has been nicknamed "The Flying Squirrel" who won not only the gold in the women's gymnastics all-around final competition on Thursday, but also the <i>hearts</i> of some of the biggest stars in entertainment.</P><P>What makes Gabby Douglas' win even more impressive is that the 16-year-old is the first African-American woman to take home the honor, a feat that has earned her major kudos from some major players in the music world and beyond. Kelly Rowland spoke to MTV News earlier this week, and she showed love to the soon-to-be gold medalist, proudly exclaiming, "Gymnastics! Gabby Douglas! She's awesome!"</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Kelly Rowland Is A Fan Of Gabby Douglas" id="vid:822664" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>But Kelly's not the only member of Destiny's Child enamored with the headline-making teen. "A huge congratulations to 16 year old Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas - WOW - what a thrill to watch you take this Gold! - enjoy this moment, its yours. Thank you for inspiring all of us! Love, B."</P><P>They're hardly the only A-listers showing the tiny teen adoration. Lil Wayne <a href="https://twitter.com/LilTunechi" target="_blank">tweeted</a>, "Glad i lived to see what Gabby Douglas did in the Olympics. Icon." His Young Money pal Nicki Minaj also sent her some viral love. "Kisses to Gabby what an amazing little firecracker. #USA #Olympics," she <a href="https://twitter.com/NICKIMINAJ/status/231080554223767552" target="_blank">wrote</a>.</P><P>In fact, after Gabby <a href="https://twitter.com/gabrielledoug/status/231268869027790848" target="_blank">responded</a> to Weezy's tweet with "WOW!!!! Im speechless Thank you SOO MUCH!!," Minaj teased back, "Oh wow, I tweeted about #Gabby earlier but she responds to@LilTunechi and not me? U know what? Ima fight u. I've had it!!!"</P><P>Other Twitter love came from a myriad of entertainers, including Oprah Winfrey, Estelle, Ian Somerhalder, Ciara, Gabrielle Union, Timbaland, Elizabeth Banks and athletes like fellow <a href="http://newsroom.mtv.com/2012/07/31/michael-phelps-wins-19th-olympic-medal-most-decorated-olympian-ever/">gold-medal winner Michael Phelps</a> and Kristi Yamaguchi.</P><P>Shortly after the historic victory, it was <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/olympics-2012-gabby-douglas-gold-medal-corn-flakes-358162" target="_blank">announced</a> that she would appear on the front of the Kellogg's Corn Flakes box; a mock-up was released in the wake of the win.</P><P>"People have asked if I felt like I was on fire here in London, but I just feel normal, the same as I do every day in practice. The difference has been that I was ready to seize the moment, to focus and to trust in what I can do," Douglas wrote on her ESPN <a href="http://espn.go.com/espnw/blog/post/1163/the-biggest-night-my-life" target="_blank">blog</a> about her landmark victory.</P><P>"You say you want to do it and you dream about it every day, but then when it happens, it's hard to believe it really has. Usher's Stepson Kile Glover Laid To Rest In Atlanta
Family and friends gathered at the Wieuca Road Baptist Church for 11-year-old's funeral service Friday (July 27).

<P>Family and friends gathered privately in Atlanta on Friday (July 27) to lay to rest young Kile Glover, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher Raymond</a>'s 11-year old stepson, who died from injuries suffered in a tragic <a href="/news/articles/1689206/ushers-stepson-declared-brain-dead-after-jet-ski-accident.jhtml">Jet Ski accident</a> earlier this month.</P><P>Glover was the son of Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster, and Atlanta TV executive Ryan Glover. He was struck by a Jet Ski while floating in an inner tube on Atlanta's Lake Lanier on July 6.</P><P>There was no fanfare outside the Wieuca Road Baptist Church on Peachtree Road where the funeral was held, but inside, the Glover, Foster and Raymond families received tremendous amounts of support from many esteemed members of Atlanta's music and political communities. Ludacris, Jazze Pha and Phaedra Parks from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" were just some of the celebrities in attendance. The hour-long service began at 11 a.m.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Usher's Stepson Kile Glover Is Laid To Rest" id="vid:819972" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>Young Kile was airlifted to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, where doctors subsequently pronounced him brain-dead. "We know God's in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time," the family told CNN in a statement. "We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it's the best way we can all support him now."</P><P>Glover passed away on July 21 after being removed from <a href="/news/articles/1690157/usher-stepson-kile-glover-taken-off-life-support.jhtml">life support</a>.</P><P>Atlanta radio personality and Cash Money record artist DJ Greg Street sent out a tweet immediately after hearing the news of Glover's death, expressing his support for the family. "Lil RG is an Angel now, Ryan, Tameka, Usher & the whole Glover Family we gotta make him proud," he wrote.</P><P>The man driving the Jet Ski has been identified as 38-year-old Jeffrey S. Hubbard, a friend of the family. Police have determined that no drugs were involved in the accident, and Hubbard has not been charged with a crime. <P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml/">Beyoncé</a> is one of the most thrilling multi-hyphenate superstars in the game, and now she's looking to pad her already-stacked résumé with another title: director. The pop diva is reportedly shopping a documentary feature about her life and career that she will star in, direct and produce.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Beyoncé - "Love on Top"" isvevo="true" isrc="USSM21101548" id="vid:702484" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>The <a href="http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/movies/moviesnow/la-et-mn-beyonce-to-direct-star-in-a-documentary-20120801,0,1760231.story" target="_blank"><i>Los Angeles Times</i></a> reports that Beyoncé's agents at ICM are looking for distribution for a documentary focusing on her life and career that would blend performance footage with confessional interviews. A source close to the film, who was not authorized to talk about it publicly, revealed that 20 minutes of footage has been shown to prospective distributors.</P><P>Beyoncé previously starred in, but did not direct, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/videos/beyonce-year-of-4/1666691/playlist.jhtml">"Beyoncé: Year of <i>4,</i>"</a> a reflective MTV documentary that chronicled the star's return to the studio to make her hit 2011 album <i>4</i> after taking a year off. "My life was award shows and tour buses and hotels, and it kind of goes by so fast. I couldn't even hear it anymore," <a href="/news/articles/1666569/beyonce-year-of-4.jhtml">she says</a> in the film. "It was very risky for me to set out on my own. Sometimes we don't reach for the stars, sometimes we are satisfied with what people tell us we're supposed to be satisfied with, and I'm just not going for it."</P><P>Much has happened in the year-plus since "Year of <i>4</i>" was produced for the star to explore in a feature-length film. Behind the scenes, she took control of her career, <a href="/news/articles/1660837/beyonce-mathew-knowles.jhtml">parting ways professionally</a> with her longtime manager, father Mathew Knowles, in March 2011. A few months later, in June, she released her hit album <i>4.</i></P><P>In August 2011, Beyoncé revealed at the MTV Video Music Awards that she was <a href="/news/articles/1669849/beyonce-pregnant-vmas.jhtml">expecting her first child</a> with husband Jay-Z. <P>Now that the Summer Olympics are in full swing, it seems as though the entire world has been caught up in watching their country's best athletes go for gold. We've definitely caught the Olympics fever here at MTV News and have been hard-pressed to pull our eyes away from all the action, and we're not alone. Thanks to a slew of enthusiastic tweets from our favorite celebrities, it's obvious the fever has spread to the likes of Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Pink, particularly after the U.S. gymnastics team won their gold medal Tuesday evening (July 31).</P><P>"Those girls are tearing the floor up for the USA! #Olympics," Lady Gaga <a href="https://twitter.com/ladygaga/status/230501177014493184" target="_blank">tweeted</a>. "Woohoo! Gold for the ladies! Just want to squeeze them! So much talent and beauty. Did u seem all holding hands? There's no 'I' in team."</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Olympics 2012: What's On Team USA's Music Playlist?" id="vid:819232" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>Gaga's support eventually made its way directly to 16-year-old team member <a href="https://twitter.com/McKaylaMaroney/status/230588951285600256" target="_blank">McKayla Maroney</a>, who thanked the Mother Monster for her kind words, which resulted in more excitement from Gaga herself.</P><P>"@mckaylamaroney tweeted at me!" Doc will reportedly take fans inside the superstar's life and career with blend of concert footage and confessional interviews.

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml/">Beyoncé</a> is one of the most thrilling multi-hyphenate superstars in the game, and now she's looking to pad her already-stacked résumé with another title: director. The pop diva is reportedly shopping a documentary feature about her life and career that she will star in, direct and produce.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Beyoncé - "Love on Top"" isvevo="true" isrc="USSM21101548" id="vid:702484" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>The <a href="http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/movies/moviesnow/la-et-mn-beyonce-to-direct-star-in-a-documentary-20120801,0,1760231.story" target="_blank"><i>Los Angeles Times</i></a> reports that Beyoncé's agents at ICM are looking for distribution for a documentary focusing on her life and career that would blend performance footage with confessional interviews. A source close to the film, who was not authorized to talk about it publicly, revealed that 20 minutes of footage has been shown to prospective distributors.</P><P>Beyoncé previously starred in, but did not direct, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/videos/beyonce-year-of-4/1666691/playlist.jhtml">"Beyoncé: Year of <i>4,</i>"</a> a reflective MTV documentary that chronicled the star's return to the studio to make her hit 2011 album <i>4</i> after taking a year off. "My life was award shows and tour buses and hotels, and it kind of goes by so fast. I couldn't even hear it anymore," <a href="/news/articles/1666569/beyonce-year-of-4.jhtml">she says</a> in the film. "It was very risky for me to set out on my own. Sometimes we don't reach for the stars, sometimes we are satisfied with what people tell us we're supposed to be satisfied with, and I'm just not going for it."</P><P>Much has happened in the year-plus since "Year of <i>4</i>" was produced for the star to explore in a feature-length film. Behind the scenes, she took control of her career, <a href="/news/articles/1660837/beyonce-mathew-knowles.jhtml">parting ways professionally</a> with her longtime manager, father Mathew Knowles, in March 2011. A few months later, in June, she released her hit album <i>4.</i></P><P>In August 2011, Beyoncé revealed at the MTV Video Music Awards that she was <a href="/news/articles/1669849/beyonce-pregnant-vmas.jhtml">expecting her first child</a> with husband Jay-Z. The couple <a href="/news/articles/1676906/beyonce-jay-z-baby-born-ivy-blue.jhtml">welcomed a daughter</a>, Blue Ivy Carter, in January. She made her <a href="/news/articles/1685932/beyonce-michelle-obama-atlantic-city.jhtml">return to the stage</a> in May with a series of concerts at the Revel resort in Atlantic City, and rumors abound that she is <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/02/14/beyonce-prepping-two-new-albums/">hard at work on new material</a>. In February, songwriter-producer and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder revealed, "The conversations about her next album literally just started and there [are] two projects happening."</P><P>Tedder previously produced the <i>4</i> track "I Was Here" and co-wrote and produced the <i>I Am ... Sasha Fierce</i> global smash "Halo."</P><P>Beyoncé recently received three nominations for the <a href="/news/articles/1690827/video-music-awards-nominees-list-2012.jhtml">2012 MTV Video Music Awards</a>, including <a href="/news/articles/1690891/2012-video-music-awards-best-female-video.jhtml">Best Female Video</a> for "Love on Top."</P>
