He is known for his impressive acting skills and impeccable good looks, but now Brad Pitt is making headlines for his take on the United States’ “War On Drugs.”
On Friday (October 12), Brad took the stage at a Hollywood screening for his new documentary on the subject, “The House I Live In,” where he dished to the audience members about his own drug use.
“My drug days have long since passed, but I could probably land in any American city in any state and get you whatever you wanted,” Pitt said.
The “Goodwill Hunting” actor then continued on with his opinions about the “War On Drugs,” saying, “but we still support this charade called the drug war. We spent a trillion dollars over 40 years, and a lot of people have lost their lives over it.”
Pitt serves as the executive producer of the flick, which focuses specifically on the flaws and hypocrisy of U.S. drug policy inside America’s criminal justice system.
